Free Music! Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti - 'Round and Round'

Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti will be hitting New York on May 4 for a sold out show at the Mercury Lounge with R. Stevie Moore, one of Mr. Pink's personal heroes - after a short European tour in June, the band will return to North America for a run of dates with Pearl Harbor and Magic Kids, launching in LA and wrapping up back near home at the Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa.

The band's 4AD debut record, Before Today, consists of twelve tracks (including the single "Round And Round") and will be released worldwide on June 8th 2010 on CD, LP and digital formats.

MP3: "Round and Round" -

Six months in the making, Before Today was recorded in part in Encino at the House of Blues (once Tito Jackson's home studio) with Sunny Levine (Quincy Jones' grandson) and Rik Pekkonen (Bill Withers, Seals & Crofts, Bread) as well as at the band's home studios. The result is a beguiling mix of glam rock, West Coast funk and Merseybeat harmonies with a high-production sheen; a contrast to the corroded bedroom recordings that have fomented a fervent cult following over the past decade.

The outfit now consists of reclusive pop surrealist Ariel Pink (vocals) alongside Tim Koh (bass/vocals), Kenny Gilmore (guitar/vocals) and Aaron Sperske (drums/vocals).
