"Lightspeed" follows Twin Atlantic’s critically acclaimed single, "What is Light? Where is Laughter?" (September 2008) and their self-released EP A Guidance from Colour (March 2008). The band has built a supportive following throughout the UK from touring with bands such as Circa Survive, The Subways and Biffy Clyro in addition to opening slots alongside The Smashing Pumpkins and Thrice. During their March ’09 headlining tour they sold out the 1,000 capacity QMU venue in their hometown of Glasgow.

Fresh from their appearance at Donington Park’s Download Festival, and with further festival performances already confirmed at Guilfest, T In The Park and Sonisphere, as well as a soon to be announced headlining jaunt, the run up to Vivarium, like the record itself - is looking very healthy.

The Vivarium mini-album and preceding single "You’re Turning Into John Wayne" will both be released this fall.
